Dance Contest in IZUMI: From Izumi to the World

About this event

'Dance Contest in IZUMI: From Izumi to the World' is a dance contest held in Izumi City. Performers are currently being recruited for the Junior High School Division and the Age 15 and Over Division (excluding junior high school students), with 10 teams eligible to participate in each division. Applications for the Elementary School Division have already closed. As guest dancers and judges, the real-sister duo 'SIS', both standing 175 cm tall, will participate. Armed with genre-defying choreography, they have won numerous competitions and have recently expanded their activities as dancers and choreographers, including choreographing for music artists, performing as back dancers, touring, and choreographing and performing in dance segments for the opening and closing ceremonies of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. The application deadline has been extended to Monday (national holiday), October 12 at 17:00, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The lottery drawing was cancelled because applications did not exceed capacity.
