LIC Habikino Winter Illumination Lighting Ceremony 2026

Throughout the LIC Habikino facility in Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture, the Winter Illumination Lighting Ceremony illuminating the 15-meter-high "Green Tower" and the Sparkling Winter Festival will be held simultaneously. Opening at 14:00, stage performances will unfold throughout the day. At 18:00, the lighting ceremony takes place at the 1st floor Exchange Plaza, followed by additional stage events. From 14:00 to 19:00, fair stalls will operate in the atrium and exchange gallery, featuring giant snowman rattle draws, charm scooping, senbonbiki (thousand-string pulls), and cardboard mazes. Fair activities cost 300 yen per turn, though a 4-ticket set (1,000 yen) is available in advance limited to 300 sets. A Christmas wreath-making workshop using flower paper is also offered for participants aged 4 and older (preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian); advance tickets purchased by November 27 cost 500 yen, while same-day participation costs 600 yen (equivalent to two fair tickets). From 17:30, snacks will be distributed to the first 300 children wearing Christmas-themed costumes, and glowing light sticks will be given to the first 300 people who follow the official Instagram account (limited to one item per child). Food trucks will also be on site, making it an event that brightens the winter night. Admission is free, though some activities and refreshments require a fee.
