About this event
The Autumn Grand Festival will be held at Ishikiri Tsurugiya Shrine. This grand festival is an important Shinto ritual heralding the arrival of autumn and holds a special meaning for the local people. During the festival, solemn rituals will be performed by Shinto priests to offer daily gratitude and pray for peace and prosperity in the region. In addition, accompanying the Autumn Grand Festival, changes to the suspension hours of the Ohyakudo-mairi (100-times pilgrimage) and the reception hours for prayers, Hatsumiyamairi (first shrine visit for newborns), and Shichi-Go-San visits are scheduled. This information is arranged with consideration for worshippers to visit smoothly. It will be a valuable opportunity to experience a traditional festival handed down since ancient times in the clear autumn air.
