About this event
An annual autumn event in Hyogo Ward held once a year along the Hyogo Canal. Set across the Shinkawa Canal Promenade and Aeon Mall Kobe Minami, visitors can enjoy stage performances along with food and hands-on activity booths. Scheduled stage performers include Kobe Sailor Boys, Good-Cool, and Kobe Kiyomoritai. At the food booths, around 15 varieties of local gourmet offerings will be served, including Shirasudon (whitebait rice bowl) by the Hyogo Fishery Cooperative Association and Kiyomori Nabe hot pot by the Hyogo Ward Federation of Women's Associations. The hands-on booths feature canal-unique experiences such as a touch pool with fish and an eelgrass release activity. A stamp rally will also be held; collecting stamps at surrounding checkpoints allows entry into a garapon lottery at the venue. Hyogo Tsu JAZZ LIVE will also be held concurrently on the same day, allowing visitors to enjoy the whole day while walking along the waterfront. Admission and viewing are free, while food, drinks, and merchandise purchases are paid. The event will proceed rain or shine, but will be cancelled in severe weather.
