Held in conjunction with Steamed Pork Bun Day on November 11, the 15th KOBE Butaman Summit 2026 is an event launched by three long-established shops—Roshoki in Nankin-machi, Shikoro in Motomachi, and Sannomiya Ikkanro—to revitalize the city of Kobe through steamed pork buns. The 15th edition coincides with the 111th anniversary of Roshoki's founding, featuring daily changing programs from November 8 to 15. The eve-of-festival celebration will showcase the announcement of summit-exclusive pork buns from each shop and the selection of the 15th Kobe Butaman Musume ambassador, while a Guinness World Record attempt is scheduled at Nankin-machi Square on November 10. On November 14 and 15, shops from around the nation, including Yokohama, Nagasaki, Sendai, and Hakodate, will join in, offering limited-edition pork buns for sale in Nankin-machi and at the Daimaru Kobe department store. The two weekend days are especially recommended for those who want to compare different pork buns. Celebrating Roshoki's 111th anniversary, this special edition offers a wide variety of limited-edition buns and festive events to enjoy.
