Ito Okashi: Western Confectionery x Rakugo Nishinomiya Sweets Yose will be held at the Nishinomiya Shrine Hall. This event is a special project combining Nishinomiya's Western confectionery culture with the traditional performing art of rakugo. In the first half, visitors can enjoy an authentic rakugo performance by professional rakugo storytellers, and in the second half, 15 representative Western confectionery brands from Nishinomiya gather, allowing attendees to taste special sweets prepared exclusively for this day. In addition, Western confectionery souvenirs from 6 shops are also provided. It is a luxurious event where you can experience a blissful time created by laughter and exquisite sweets in a space infused with Nishinomiya's traditional Japanese charm. The participation fee is 6,500 yen, which includes rakugo viewing, special sweets from 9 shops, 1 cup of black tea, and Western confectionery souvenirs from 6 shops. It will be held on Monday, September 7, 2026, in a two-part system. The application period is from Tuesday, July 21, 2026 to Sunday, August 16, 2026, and a lottery will be held if there are many applications.
