About this event
Held under the theme "Kokoro Odoru" (Heart-Pounding Excitement) with the purpose of deepening mutual understanding and solidarity among citizens, enhancing living culture, and contributing to the development of local Nishinomiya, the "51st Nishinomiya Citizens' Festival" will take place. The venue is around the Nishinomiya City Hall Main Building, where citizen-participatory events will unfold. Looking at past history, it began with the 1st festival in 1973 (Showa 48) and has been held at various locations, including Nishinomiya Shrine, Hankyu Nishinomiya Stadium, and Nishinomiya Central Sports Park. In recent years, the area around the City Hall Main Building has served as the main venue. As symbolized by the image of parent and child chosen for the symbol mark, a warm, community-rooted atmosphere is expected for the event contents. Details can be checked on the Nishinomiya Citizens' Festival Council website.
