Playful Sand Art in Shio-Ashiya Beach 2026

About this event

A hands-on event for both children and adults, "Playful Sand Art in Shio-Ashiya Beach 2026," will be held at Shio-Ashiya Beach. At this event, all participants will collaborate using scoops and buckets to create a giant sand art piece. Admission is free, allowing families and friends to make special memories through playing with sand. The program is supervised by expert Professor Hiroyuki Kasama of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, designed to nurture creativity and expressiveness while playing. Participants of all ages from infants to adults can join, and participation with parents or grandparents is also recommended. It is a great opportunity to try making giant sand art, an experience not often available in daily life. Capacity is 150 people, and advance registration is required.
