Kinosaki Autumn Festival

The annual festival of Shisho Shrine, located in the center of the Kinosaki Onsen district. Hot spring town residents are divided into "Upper," "Middle," and "Lower" districts depending on where they live, with each bringing out floats that hold specific roles into the town. The festival highlight is the gallant spectacle called "seri," where floats clash against one another in an overwhelmingly powerful display. This festival offers a valuable opportunity to experience the traditions of Kinosaki Onsen and the passion of the local residents.
