About this event
The "1st Toyooka Riku Festival" is an event aimed at passing down the achievements and legacy of "Riku," the wife of Oishi Kuranosuke and a native of Toyooka City, to future generations. Held at Toyooka Theater, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of programs throughout the day, including dance, manzai stand-up comedy, lectures, and chorus. Food trucks and a secondhand book market will also be present, making it a day to discover new charms of Toyooka. Admission is free, though some contents require a fee. Organised mainly by Troupe Inari, this festival is held to pass the bond between Toyooka and Riku Oishi on to the next generation.
