About this event
The '5th Nihon no Heso Nishiwaki Summer Festival' will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 'Nihon Heso Park' in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. It is the city's largest summer event, held in Nishiwaki City—known as the 'Navel of Japan' where 135 degrees east longitude and 35 degrees north latitude intersect. Around 100 stalls will line the venue, offering a variety of food from classic festival treats to local specialties. Enjoying the festival atmosphere with family while sampling various foods is one of the highlights of a summer festival. On the festival grounds, various stage events that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to adults are scheduled, offering a program full of highlights. The biggest highlight of the festival is the fireworks display of about 2,000 rounds that marks the grand finale. The large fireworks launched up close are full of impact, beautifully coloring the summer night sky. There are no paid reserved seats, so anyone can enjoy the fireworks for free. It is an event where you can spend a special day enjoying plenty of stall food, getting excited at stage events, and finishing with beautiful fireworks.
