The '1st Miki Railway Cycle Festa (nickname: Miki-Sai)' is a cycling event utilizing the former railway track corridor of the Miki Railway that once ran through Miki City. Rather than competition, it emphasizes riding at your own pace while enjoying the rural scenery and local atmosphere. The approximately 10 km course, which passes along the Bessho Yume Kaido (cycling road) and turns around at the Former Ishino Station Rest Area, welcomes parent-child participation, and anyone who can ride a bicycle safely on their own can participate. Rental bicycles are also available in limited quantities. It will be a day to connect memories of the Miki Railway by bicycle and feel nostalgia as well as new discoveries.
