About this event
The "Shimoichi Yume Matsuri," held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, will feature appearances by Shimoichi Town Tourism Ambassadors "Munmu-san" and "Jutte-san" to liven up the venue. Free popcorn tickets will be distributed at the headquarters tent for children (from preschoolers to 9th graders of Akitsu Gakuen). In the latter half of the festival, Bon Odori dancing including Shimoichi Ondo will take place in the center of the venue, with a fireworks display scheduled at the end. Held together with local residents, this festival will also feature night market stalls, dance performances, and musical acts, brightly coloring Shimoichi Town.
