Tour of Nara Mahoroba 2026 Summer Stage: Higashiyoshino Course

The 'Tour of Nara Mahoroba 2026 Summer Stage: Higashiyoshino Course' held in Higashiyoshino Village, Nara Prefecture, is a cycling event touring rich nature and undulating terrain by bicycle. Participants tour checkpoints around the course in teams of two or more or in guided groups. The Summer Stage Higashiyoshino Course offers plenty of summer enjoyment, including playing in clear streams, salt-grilled sweetfish, and hot springs after finishing. The course is approximately 54 km with an elevation gain of 1520 m. Participants ride cooperatively in teams while referring to the provided map. Rather than a race competing for time, the purpose is to experience safe cycling while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Yamato Plateau area in Nara Prefecture. On the day of the event, enhanced patrols within the course in cooperation with the police and lending of bear deterrent goods to participants will also be conducted as bear countermeasures. Entry registration opens on June 9, 2026, and the deadline for the Summer Stage is July 31, 2026.
