The "Katsuragi Summer Festival 2026," held in Katsuragi Town, Wakayama Prefecture, is a festival set at the Katsuragi Park Grounds to enliven the summer night. On the day of the event, dance presentations and community-rooted Bon Odori dances will be performed to energize the venue. In addition, numerous night stalls will be set up, allowing visitors to enjoy the lively atmosphere unique to festivals. At night, fireworks are scheduled to be launched from around 20:00, offering a must-see feast of light coloring the night sky. The venue offers good access, just a 4-minute walk from JR Wakayama Line "Myoji Station," but public transportation is recommended as parking is limited. In case of severe weather, it may be postponed to the following day, Sunday the 23rd.
