Koyasan Conference 2026

About this event

Koyasan Conference 2026 will be held, organized by the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) at the University of Tokyo. This conference marks its 6th edition since RCAST, Koya Town, and Sohonzan Kongobuji Temple signed a partnership agreement. The agreement aims to achieve "the promotion of academic research, development of human resources, industrial progress, and the creation of a vibrant and distinctive region," with this conference serving as its starting point. Under the theme of fusing science, technology, and art design, the main purpose is human resource development. The general public can also participate for free, and everyone's participation is welcome. A concert will also be held, which does not require advance registration. However, due to venue capacity, registration may close on a first-come, first-served basis if participants significantly exceed capacity.
