PANDA LOVE CLUB Appreciation Day

This is an appreciation event for panda fans held by Adventure World, opening the park exclusively on a regular closing day. The event features special programs to help visitors feel even closer to pandas, including a special backyard tour of Panda Love, a panda-themed buffet, and a cross-talk session by former giant panda keepers. As a highlight of the event, the "Maneki Panda (Saihin Model)", designed after Saihin's "President Sit (Kororin Pose)", will be unveiled for the first time. This "Maneki Panda" was designed by illustrator Toshiyuki Fukuda and crafted by Chugai Toen, a long-established ceramic craft manufacturer in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, with over 1,000 years of history. The artisanal craftsmanship shines through in authentic details, such as the use of genuine gold on the front claws. A talk session with Mr. Fukuda and panda care staff will also be held during the event, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of how "Maneki Panda" was created. It will be a day that transforms feelings of wanting to see the pandas again from mere loneliness into hope for the future and new connections. Families can participate to deepen memories with pandas and enjoy interacting with each other.
