Aozora Fureai Market Night Market in Waseda Shrine (September)

About this event

A night market held within the grounds of Waseda Shrine in Higashi Ward, Hiroshima City. Freshly harvested vegetables, handmade mochi (rice cakes), jam, juice, food, general merchandise, accessories, clothing, and more will be on sale. In addition, visitors can enjoy handmade workshops and Junishingi Kagura. Specifically on September 5, a joint performance with Shimane Kagura will be held as a 3rd anniversary dedicatory Kagura by Kunimitsu Kagura Troupe, well known at the Fureai Market. It is an event where you can spend a relaxing time within the shrine grounds and fully enjoy the warm, unique local atmosphere. In the morning, monthly rituals and "Shrine de Yoga" are also held, offering various ways to enjoy the entire day.
