About this event

"Tarareba Bosai" is an experiential event whose name comes from a coined phrase meaning "if only we had prepared" and "if only we had known how to respond" when a disaster occurs, allowing participants to learn the importance of thinking ahead and taking action regarding disaster prevention. Events themed around disaster prevention will take place across six venues (West and East sides of Seibu Umetate Dai-4 Park, Alpark East and West Buildings, and LECT Outdoor and Indoor areas). JAF, Starlite Co., Ltd., and Japan Car Sharing Association will also jointly host booths featuring hands-on experiences with car door water pressure during road flooding, tow truck displays, demonstration introductions of vehicle protective covers against flood damage, and introductions of disaster-related vehicle initiatives. Visitors can also participate in a stamp rally covering each venue, making it a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of disaster preparedness.
