The long-distance walking event set in Hiroshima and Setouchi, 'Setouchi Journey Walk in Hiroshima', will be held again in 2026. This year, in addition to the conventional 120 km and 30 km courses, a new 60 km course has been introduced to meet the diverse needs of participants. Its appeal lies in allowing people to participate at their own pace, from those who stoically aim to complete the walk to those who wish to walk while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and local gourmet food. It will be a special journey to experience the scenic island beauty of the Seto Inland Sea and atmospheric townscapes along the route on foot. An unforgettable experience awaits where every step turns into a moving memory. The 120 km course runs from Onomichi Station Harbor Green Space to Hanover Garden in Hiroshima City, the 60 km course from Chateraise Gateaux Kingdom Setouchi in Kure City to Hanover Garden, and the 30 km course from Marine Park Kawaharaishi in Kure City to Hanover Garden. It is an event where you can experience a sense of accomplishment and emotion within a 32-hour time limit.
