2026 Summer Tour Radio Calisthenics & Minna no Taiso Gathering

About this event

Commemorating the 75th anniversary of the enforcement of the municipal system of Komatsushima City, the 2026 Summer Tour Radio Calisthenics & Minna no Taiso Gathering is organized by Japan Post Insurance Co., Ltd., NHK, and the NPO National Radio Calisthenics Federation. Participants can enjoy radio calisthenics together while basking in the morning sun. Participants from outside Komatsushima City are also welcome to share this refreshing early morning time. Doors open at 5:30 AM and the event begins at 6:00 AM, with a live broadcast scheduled on NHK AM radio. The event will be cancelled in case of stormy weather, which will be announced on the city's official website and the official Radio Calisthenics X (formerly Twitter) account. The venue is Komatsushima Municipal Komatsushima Elementary School, with parking and bicycle parking areas provided. Participants are encouraged to bring drinks, hats, and towels to prevent heatstroke. Please also note in advance that media coverage may involve photo and video recording inside the venue.
