Water Splashing Festival 2026 in Sunport Takamatsu

Held for the first time at Sunport Takamatsu in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, the hands-on summer event 'Water Splashing Festival 2026 in Sunport Takamatsu' is inspired by Thailand's traditional water festival 'Songkran,' aiming to create a venue where people across generations can enjoy themselves under the theme 'Both adults and children, go all out and have fun.' In the main event 'Water Splashing Time,' participants splash water on each other holding water guns and other items they brought. It will be held 3 times on the day with different themes. On stage, kids' dance teams, Kagawa University band performances, spray art, bubble shows, DJ time, and more will unfold. In addition, a rock-paper-scissors tournament where the winner receives a 10,000-yen gift certificate and a candy toss are scheduled. As a special guest, singer-songwriter HAZZIE->'s live performance will also take place from 18:30. Food and drink booths, food trucks, and festival game booths will also line the venue, making it an event where you can easily drop by with family and friends or even alone to create summer memories. Admission is free.
