The "3rd Shido Fireworks Festival," held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture, is a moving fireworks event illuminating the summer night sky of Sanuki City. Following the end of the "Summer Memorial Fest" that once colored Shido's summers, the fireworks festival was revived in response to local resident requests and marks its 3rd edition this year. The executive committee is preparing for midsummer, and fireworks launched offshore behind Sanuki City Hall will gorgeously adorn the late summer night sky. This fireworks festival is a handmade event organized with the cooperation of local volunteers and sponsor companies, and cooperation is requested to enjoy it safely and pleasantly. No general parking lots or viewing seats are provided, so the use of public transportation is recommended.
