Setouchi International Music Festival 2026: Zero Session

About this event

A celebration of music resounding from Setouchi to the world will be held. Featuring performances by artists active both domestically and internationally, such as Dai Miyata and Tomona Miyazaki, the festival also includes collaborations between a local children's choir and vocalists, as well as touring projects in Miki Town. This music festival aims to promote international cultural dissemination, foster intergenerational exchange, and contribute to the promotion of regional culture. As hands-on participatory events, plastic anime (eurhythmics movement) performances and handmade instrument workshops will also be held, allowing participants to join the concert with instruments they made themselves. On the final day, titled "Connecting Hearts and Music," a chamber ensemble and vocalists with ties to Setouchi will perform memorable songs of the heart that resonate in everyone's soul.
