The Kochigai La La La Music Festival is an event aimed at creating vibrancy in downtown Kochi City through music, while providing a venue for interaction and performances among music lovers across the prefecture. Reaching its 23rd edition in 2026, the music festival gathers musicians across generations on multiple outdoor stages in central Kochi City, including Central Park and Obiyacho Park, delivering a diverse range of performances across all genres. With the city as its stage, performers and spectators unite to enjoy music in an event that has become a quintessential summer tradition in Kochi. PA systems are set up at the venues, and guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers, and drums are also prepared at some locations. Each performing group is allotted 20 minutes of stage time, and the executive committee oversees stage operations. This music festival is held with the aspiration to cherish a day filled with the power of music across the world.
