The Kitagawa Village Shintaro and Yuzu Country Festival is an event aimed at widely promoting Kitagawa Village's specialty product, yuzu, and preserving and developing the culture of living alongside yuzu. There are plenty of fun activities to fully enjoy yuzu, such as yuzu harvesting experiences, yuzu squeezing experiences, and a yuzu cider fast-drinking contest. In addition, stalls selling local specialties and handmade sushi line up, making the venue bustling with many people. On stage, performances such as taiko drumming and Yosakoi dance will be presented, enlivening the festival even further. Visitors can also enjoy a grand raffle with luxurious prizes, a mochi toss, Kitagawa Village yuzu foot baths, and a stamp rally across village facilities. It is an event where the whole family can experience, taste, watch, and fully enjoy the food culture of Kitagawa Village.
