About this event
This is an event where you can experience the native local variety "Asemigawa Soba" of Motoyama Town, Kochi Prefecture, from sowing seeds to harvesting and tasting your own handmade soba noodles. Along with Tosa cuisine tradition bearers and local residents, you can enjoy learning about the process of making soba. After being active in the great outdoors, eating freshly made "Asemigawa Soba" together will become an unforgettable memory. One-time participation is also possible. Please come with your entire family to experience the rich nature of the Asemi River.\n\nThe event is held a total of 4 times, with the "Asemigawa Soba Harvest & Soba Making Experience" taking place on Saturday, October 24. The hours are 10:00–14:00 (meeting at 9:30), and the venue is Asemigawa Fureai no Sato Seiryukan. The participation fee is 3,300 yen for adults and 2,200 yen for elementary and junior high school students, with a capacity of 10 participants per session. Items to bring are clothes suitable for farm work, a hat, and a towel.
