STARRY NIGHT JAM vol.143 Take a Break at the Planetarium will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the 6th floor Dome Theater of Fukuoka City Science Museum. It is a 60-minute program where visitors can gaze at a starry sky while enjoying music centered on J-POP selected from song requests submitted by visitors under the theme 'music to listen to while watching the stars.' This year, scenes where visitors can experience 'moonlight bathing' along with music are also planned, with the theme of stepping away from busy daily life to spend a relaxing time surrounded by starry skies and music. Unlike a regular planetarium show with constellation commentary, you can enjoy dedicating your time to the visuals, starry sky, and music itself. Although there are no live performances or live commentary, you can enjoy the combination of music, dome visuals, and starry sky staging. Two screenings will be held at 16:00 and 18:00, each lasting 60 minutes. The fee is a flat 700 yen, sold via web tickets and same-day tickets. Due to the nature of the event, preschool children are not admitted. All seats are unreserved, with 220 seats per screening. Web tickets go on sale from Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 10:00, and same-day tickets go on sale on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:30 at the Fukuoka City Science Museum 3F General Information / Ticket Counter. Doors open 15 minutes before each start time, and entry is not permitted after the start time. Staff may take photos of the venue on the day to use on the Fukuoka City Science Museum website, social media, public relations magazines, etc. On the same day, the Kenji Ishikawa Moonlight Photo Exhibition 'Moonlight Bathing: On a Moonlit Night' is also being held at Fukuoka City Science Museum, allowing visitors to enjoy the world of the 'moon' connected to the event theme throughout the day.
