About this event
Started in 2014 with the wish to help more people discover the Minamihatake area through art, the annual art event "Minamihatake Art Walk" marks its 13th edition this year. The entire Minamihatake district serves as the venue, allowing visitors to encounter art throughout the area through open ateliers and workshops, activities in various spots, and art exhibitions. Visitors can connect with the creators' passions and craftsmanship, make their own works by hand, and enjoy unique encounters found only here. Another attraction is Minamihatake's distinctive local food, autumn scenery, and interaction with local residents. Triggered by art, you can feel the lifestyle, culture, and warmth of the people living in Minamihatake. Whether appreciating artwork, savoring gourmet food, or strolling leisurely, visitors can enjoy a memorable day feeling the breeze of Minamihatake in their own way. On the day, open venues will include Atelier Jaune, Kobo Nonoan, S.A.S.U., T-works Ceramics, Mandala Gama, Tsundnoe, Wave G Glass Studio, THREE TREES, and Zokei Kobo Den. Information centers will be set up at Minamihatake Elementary School and Nakanoshima Park.
