Chikugo SAKE Festa 2026, bringing together 20 sake breweries from the Chikugo region of Fukuoka Prefecture, will be held at Kurume City Plaza Rokkakudo Square. Visitors can taste and compare about 100 brands of local sake carefully crafted by each brewery—including daiginjo, junmai, shochu, plum wine, and fruit wine—for a fee. You can also purchase your favorite sake at the venue. It is a great opportunity to find your personal favorite while interacting with brewery representatives and other visitors. Admission is free for non-drinkers, making it enjoyable for families and groups of friends. Since the venue is the covered Rokkakudo Square, you can spend time comfortably regardless of the weather. Advance tickets are a better deal than same-day tickets.
