'Matsuri Shingu' is a major event where dynamic people and features of the town—including industry, culture, sports, and education—gather in one place to showcase the energy and charm of Shingu Town. Packed with the town's charms, the festival features sales of local specialties and commercial/industrial products, hands-on experience booths for children, and stage events. For fiscal year 2026, reflecting on the cancellation of the previous year's event, preparations led by the executive committee are underway to ensure an even more satisfying festival for local residents and visitors alike. As a new initiative, a family concert by the Fukuoka Institute of Technology Brass Band is scheduled to be held at the satellite venue Sopia Shingu. Programs that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations from children to adults have been planned, and discussions were held to ensure that many visitors can enjoy the festival safely and securely.
