📅 Sun, Sep 20, 2026 - Mon, Sep 21, 2026
About this event
In the terraced rice fields of Eriyama around late September, vivid red spider lilies (higanbana) line the paths between the rice paddies, making the rural satoyama landscape even more striking. From mid-September when the flowers are at their best, many photography enthusiasts and tourists visit to enjoy the beautiful scenery woven by rice ears and spider lilies. There is no parking at the venue, and the use of a shuttle bus is required. The best viewing time is from mid to late September, allowing visitors to enjoy the satoyama landscape where rice ears and spider lilies share the stage.
