Pop-up Shimabara Filming Location Exhibition in Mirai Nagasaki COCOWALK

About this event

An exhibition related to various productions filmed in Shimabara City will be held. Autographed message boards by cast members and "The Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness," which can only be seen here, will be specially exhibited. There will also be displays of actual costumes and scripts used in filming, a Shimabara introduction corner featuring Shimabara City's traditions, food culture, annual events, and hometown tax donation gifts, as well as screenings of Shimabara City PR videos. In addition, as a participatory activity, visitors can join "Draw Your Original Kanzarashi!" where you draw your favorite face on a rice dumpling (shiratama) to create your original "kanzarashi," followed by a commemorative photo opportunity with "Shimabaran." Origami and Shimabaran coloring pages are also available, offering fun for parents and children alike. On August 29 and 30, the "Shimabara Products Fair" will be held simultaneously, allowing visitors to purchase local specialties of Shimabara. Photo sessions with "Shimabara Guardian Deity Shimabaran" will also take place on August 29 and 30.
