At this event, you can fully enjoy fishing in the rich seas of Kamigoto alongside members of the popular fishing show "Tsuri Yoka Desho." and guest Taku Suzuki. In addition to enjoying offshore breakwater fishing and boat fishing, lunch features Goto Udon unique to Kamigoto, and the social gathering lets you savor island gourmet specialties like fresh seafood and Goto Beef. With a welcoming atmosphere where beginners and families can participate with peace of mind, it is a popular event that attracts many participants every year from both within Nagasaki Prefecture and beyond. A wide variety of fish can be caught, including horse mackerel, scorpionfish, black sea bream, largescale blackfish, barracuda, grouper species, flounder, wrasse, and white croaker, offering hopes of encountering various fish. Chum bait will be provided by the organizers, but participants must bring their own complete set of fishing gear. The boat fishing division has rules based on Tai-rubber fishing. As an interactive event, participants can deepen their bonds through an awards ceremony and social gathering in addition to the fishing tournament. Life jacket wear is mandatory to ensure safety.
