The traditional summer festival 'Suzumushi Festival' of the Yunotsuru Onsen town marks its 55th edition in fiscal year 2026 (Reiwa 8). This community-rooted festival can be enjoyed alongside the charming atmosphere of the hot spring town. In particular, a special accommodation plan that combines festival management volunteering is offered, providing a unique experience where participants help prepare for the festival in the morning, enjoy Yunotsuru Onsen during lunch, and fully savor the festival at night. This plan includes 1 night with breakfast and lunch on the day (bento box), as well as a perk of free bathing at Yunotsuru Onsen (designated facilities). Participation requirements are age 16 or older (high school students must be accompanied by a guardian), with a capacity of 15 groups. On the day of the festival, participants gather early in the morning to prepare and set up for the festival. After that, lunch is served, followed by free time. In the evening, participants join the festival, and cleanup and an after-party are held at night. The following day, participants join in cleaning up after breakfast before checking out. Through this special plan, it will be an opportunity to see behind the scenes of the festival, interact with local residents, and deeply experience the charm of Yunotsuru Onsen.
