49th Makubetsu Industry Festival

Held at the special venue in front of the Makubetsu Town Centennial Memorial Hall, the '49th Makubetsu Industry Festival' is a major event celebrating the autumn harvest of Makubetsu Town, known as a town of agriculture and livestock and the birthplace of park golf. Bustling with many families, the event features direct sales of locally grown vegetables. Visitors can also enjoy gourmet treats such as all-you-can-pack vegetables and teppanyaki Wagyu beef (tasting and sales end once sold out). On stage, music shows, impersonation shows, and participatory games take place, with the 'Women's Pumpkin Toss Contest' generating particular excitement with luxurious prizes offered. In addition, there are plenty of attractions for visitors to enjoy, including stalls by members of the Makubetsu Town Tourism and Product Association and an inflatable dome by the Commerce and Industry Association Youth Division.
