44th Takamori Furusato Festival

The 44th Takamori Furusato Festival will be held in Takamori Town, Nagano Prefecture. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The venues span multiple locations, including the parking lot in front of Takamori Town Office, the north parking lot of Takamori Town Gymnasium, Takamori Junior High School Ground, Takamori Town Central Community Center, and Takamori Town Gymnasium Parking Lot. Shuttle buses are planned to run on the day of the event, enabling smooth travel between venues. This festival will be an excellent opportunity for local residents to feel the arrival of autumn and deepen exchanges with members of the community. Applications are also open for food and goods vendors to enliven the festival. Eligibility for opening stalls is limited to groups and organizations composed of Takamori Town residents, business operators with stores or offices in the town, members of the Takamori Town Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and municipalities/organizations with which the town has agreements such as sister cities. The stall fee is 2,000 yen per booth space. The deadline for stall applications is Monday, August 31, 2026 for the application form, pledge, and consent form, and Tuesday, September 15, 2026 for all other documents. Applications can be submitted via fax, email, or online form. Details of the festival will be released progressively in the future.
