"Oita 'Dream' Fireworks 2026," coloring the summer night sky of Oita City, will be held upstream of Benten Bridge on the Oita River. In this event, a pre-event drone show called "Genki Hatsuratsu! Sky Chorus 2026" featuring approximately 1,300 drones drawing a giant "Oronamin C Drink," lyrics, and musical staves in the night sky will take place from 7:15 PM. Following that, from 7:30 PM, a fireworks display lasting about one hour is scheduled, splendidly illuminating the summer night. Paid viewing sections and bleacher seats are sold by lottery, with ticket revenues utilized to sustain the event. Various options are available, such as section-only tickets, sections with parking, and sections that include the right to launch dedicated message fireworks. In addition, bleachers offer regular seats and top-row seats, allowing visitors to choose according to their viewing style. In the event of severe weather, it is scheduled to be postponed to the following Sunday.
