Beppu Onsen Water Splashing Festival "BOB2026" is a unique large-scale festival held at Matogahama Park Beppu Spa Beach in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, where participants get showered with music and hot spring water. Over 1,000 tons of onsen water sourced from Beppu Hot Springs are prepared at the venue and splashed lavishly. Performances by artists and DJs will unfold on the music stage, and numerous food and beverage booths by local restaurants will be set up at the venue for enjoying food and drinks. The festival aims to share hot spring culture with the world and become a new signature event representing Beppu. It is an unprecedented festival experience where you can enjoy food and drink with friends while being bathed in about 1,000 tons of onsen water and music.
