Play with Bamboo and Wood! Craft Camp

About this event

'Play with Bamboo and Wood! Craft Camp' will be held, allowing you to fully enjoy the rich nature of Shiiba Village, Miyazaki Prefecture. On the first day, participants will build a flowing somen noodle flume out of bamboo at Nakatogawa Gorge Hall (Nakatokeikoku no Yakata) and enjoy flowing somen noodles. In the afternoon, participants will craft Molkky sets using Shiiba timber at the former gymnasium of Nakato Elementary School, followed by an exciting Molkky tournament. Fireworks are also planned on the sports ground at night for a special experience. On the second day, participants will have breakfast on their own, followed by check-out at 10:00. This camp offers a great opportunity to fully experience interaction with nature and the joy of crafting through experiences unique to Shiiba Village, known as one of Japan's three great hidden scenic regions.
