3rd Kushiro Town Bon Odori Festival

About this event

Held as part of the Kushiro Town Machinaka Summer Festival 2026, the "3rd Kushiro Town Bon Odori Festival" will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at a special venue in the AEON Kushiro Store parking lot. The beer garden will open at 16:00, and registrations for the costume Bon Odori will also be accepted as needed. From 17:00, visitors can enjoy beer garden events including Kiyari (traditional work chants) and ladder climbing performances, a Mikoshi (portable shrine) parade, and Japanese drum performances. Children's Bon Odori will start at 18:30, and from 19:00, Hokkai Bon Uta will be performed jointly for both the general and costume divisions. A snack toss will take place at 19:30, the results of the costume division will be announced at 19:45, and the event is scheduled to end at 20:00. Many luxury prizes are prepared for the costume Bon Odori, inviting participants to join.
