Halloween Walk in Takachiho 2026

'Halloween Walk in Takachiho 2026' will be held in Takachiho Town to experience foreign culture and deepen interactions with foreign residents living in the local area. In this event, costumed children parade from the Chuo Community Center to Takachiho Elementary School. While walking through town, they can experience 'trick-or-treating' at checkpoints and receive presents. Eligible participants are residents of the town aged 0 to 6th grade of elementary school, with a capacity of 80 people. Preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian. The participation fee is 500 yen per person (including insurance), and advance registration is required. The application period is from 19:00 on October 1, 2026 (Thursday) to 17:00 on October 10, 2026 (Saturday). Applications will close as soon as capacity is reached, so early registration is recommended. The event date is November 1, 2026 (Sunday), with reception starting at 13:30 and the final group starting at 15:30.
