Happy Cat Photo Exhibition - Accepting Submissions

Sengan-en is holding the 'Happy Cat Photo Exhibition - Accepting Submissions' in conjunction with Animal Welfare Week. Inspired by the deep connection between Sengan-en—home to the nationally rare 'Neko Jinja' (Cat Shrine) dedicated to cats—and feline companions, this photo exhibition is themed around 'happiness.' A total of 80 cat photos gathered through a public call will be exhibited, and a popularity vote by visitors called the 'Favorite Cat Contest' will also take place. Top prize winners will receive original Sengan-en cat merchandise. Submissions of cat photos capturing special 'happy moments' encountered in daily life are also accepted, offering an opportunity to display your favorite cat at Sengan-en. Submissions are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to 1 photo per person (Theme: Happiness), and will close once the count reaches 80 submissions. There is no entry fee.
