The 56th Naha Great Tug-of-War Festival is a traditional tug-of-war event held in Naha City. The event begins with a procession of decorative banner heads (Hatagashira) along Kokusai Street, followed by the main Naha Great Tug-of-War held at the Route 58 Kumoji Intersection. This tug-of-war is also known for its Guinness-certified giant rope, allowing many participants to take part and experience its power and tradition. The Hatagashira procession is scheduled from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and the Naha Great Tug-of-War is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
