About this event
Aimed at revitalizing the eastern district of Okinawa City, the '23rd Okinawa City Eastern Festival 2026' will be held at the Okinawa Comprehensive Athletic Park Multipurpose Plaza. This year's theme is 'Okinawa City - The East is One.' In addition to traditional culture, activities, and performances by local residents on stage, the 'Okinawa City Shionomori Grand Fireworks 2026' will be launched for the finale. The fireworks are scheduled to start around 20:40. There are plenty of events for families to enjoy, including stage performances, stalls, and food trucks. The fireworks will be launched to promote the Eastern Coastal Development Project (Shionomori District). Details of the event will be released sequentially on the official Instagram accounts of the Okinawa City Eastern Festival and the Shionomori Grand Fireworks.
