3rd OKINAWA Virtual Fireworks Festival

About this event

This is the third and final fireworks viewing event of the 'OKINAWA Fireworks Viewing Gathering', which has been held since fiscal year 2024 as a 'viewing event for people who cannot go see fireworks'. Using the virtual pyrotechnics (fireworks) projection system introduced in the 2nd event, it provides a fireworks viewing experience with special visual and audio effects that can only be experienced at the venue. This event is the culmination of planning and management spearheaded by high school students, embodying the gratitude of the High School Student Executive Committee, which has operated with the goal of 'spreading the joy of fireworks and contributing to the local community through fireworks'. Its philosophy is to deliver the moving experience of fireworks to those who cannot attend actual fireworks festivals for various reasons, such as families with small children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. With the cooperation of visual creators such as Komatsu Kako Kagayaki Enkaten, Masa's Virtual Factory, and Cyber Fireworks (Denno Enka), exclusive on-site special experiences are created, including productions difficult to realize with real fireworks and original fireworks designs. Having attracted a total of 500 attendees across the past two events, this time marks a new initiative with the renewed name 'OKINAWA Virtual Fireworks Festival' to convey the appeal of fireworks to even more people.
