The 72nd Ofunato Civic Arts Festival: General Stage

About this event

This "General Stage" brings together arts organizations of various genres active in Ofunato City. It is held to provide an opportunity to present and exhibit the results of citizens' arts and cultural activities, widely arouse civic interest in arts and culture, and promote independent creative activities as well as local culture. A diverse array of groups—including Mai no Kai, Kouta/Fujiki-kai, Shigin ni Shitashimu Kai, Iwate Prefecture Folk Song Preservation Society Ofunato Branch, Ka Hula O Hawaii Hui Ia Fumie Fujimori Class, SPOJ Yui Band, String Ensemble "Felice", Punato Music Band, Ofunato Ballet Class, and Ofunato Boys and Girls Choir—will appear and present a variety of performances on a daily rotation. Admission is free, offering an opportunity to thoroughly enjoy an autumn of the arts.
