The 44th Ofunato City Industrial Festival

The '44th Ofunato City Industrial Festival' will be held to promote local industries in Ofunato City. This year as well, there will be free servings of charcoal-grilled Pacific saury grilled by 'Sanma Yakishi'—the world's first and only certified saury-grilling masters—as well as an all-you-can-stuff wakame seaweed event. In addition, visitors can enjoy a powerful stage performance by the 'Golden Bears' from Minoo Jiyu Gakuen High School in Osaka Prefecture. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the diverse attractions of Ofunato City, including culinary appeal centered on seafood and the technological capabilities of local companies. The venue will feature an industry introduction corner, artisan craftsmanship exhibition and sales corner, specialty goods sales corner, and food/product sales corners where you can savor local specialties and gourmet food. The kids' corner offers occupational work experiences, working vehicle displays, sports experiences, and a petting zoo, ensuring fun for families. Stage events are also plentiful, featuring brass band performances, dance performances, and mascot character (yuru-chara) stages.
