About this event

The annual dedication of local folk performing arts will take place at Chuson-ji Temple. From Saturday, September 19 to Wednesday, September 23, 2026, various traditional performing arts will be dedicated each day starting around 1:30 PM. The Kurokawa Sansa Odori Troupe from Morioka City will perform on the first day, the Nagahama Shishi Odori Preservation Society from Ofunato City on the second day, the Kuromori Kagura Preservation Society from Miyako City on the third day, Tsugaruishi Sansa Odori from Miyako City on the fourth day, and the Shiroyama Tora-mai (Tiger Dance) from Otsuchi Town on the final day. This is a valuable opportunity to experience regional traditional performing arts and is expected to attract many spectators.
