The 71st Noda Village Petit Night Market is a popular annual event held in Noda Village, Iwate Prefecture. In 2026, it will be held for three days from August 21 (Friday) to August 23 (Sunday), coinciding with the Atago Shrine Annual Grand Festival - Noda Festival. The venue is 'Nema-ru', conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Sonmin Hiroba, the special event venue of the Noda Festival. At this event, you can enjoy draft beer from the Baeren Brewery in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, as well as wild grape wine from a local winery, along with takeout food and sweets such as yakitori, stewed giblets (motsuni), and oden. In addition, handmade goods sales and a flea market will be held, offering a lively atmosphere created by the shops in 'Nema-ru' and local vendors from the village. It is an event rich in local flavor where you can enjoy Iwate local craft beer, local wine, and various shopping all at once. The event will be held in light rain, but may be canceled in the case of severe weather.
